tough and great military women
Tough military women. The first two are in Israel. This last one on the bottom here are American female soldiers in Afghanistan. Notice the full combat gear in a war with no front lines. Many are in combat with terroist and Taliban like man and are fighting well. More military women have been killed and injured in Iraq and Afghanistan than in any other war. Yet regardless of what society thinks of these casulties and closeness to real combat, officers say it is a fact of life with war in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have done their part with their sacrifices. They have fought well. They do not hesitate under pressure. They fight as trained to do. Body counts have confirmed it when they do fight. They have many times outfought, captured and killed many insurgents and terroist in ambush gun fights they have found themselves in. They can do many impressive things in situations like that one officer said more than soceity thinks. And he noted they fight with more emotional intelligence than men do. They may not do the crazy things that Navy Seals or Green Baretts do like night raids in danger spots and 1 thousand pushups, but that is not the most important thing in the occupation of a country and culture. They have been needed over there and will be missed as much as the male troops when they leave. Perhaps even more of a loss for the general stability in the society over there. The US army did not just use them because there has been a manpower shortage. They have found the benefits of womanpower in the Middle East. Only women soldiers can check certain things in an islamic home. In many ways they are on the front lines and effectively useful in combating crazy terroist in both sexes over there. Way to go.
